Songs of Reformation: Announcing a Concert of Sacred Music in Memphis
I’m extending an invitation for you to join us at what I anticipate to be an edifying time of worship and reflection.
On September 24, 2017, Ligonier Ministries is hosting a free concert of sacred music at Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. This event, titled “Songs of Reformation,” will feature a live performance of new hymns celebrating the Protestant Reformation written by composer Jeff Lippencott and me.
If you attended our hymn concert in Nashville in November 2015, then you know what an encouraging and worshipful time we enjoyed together. By God’s grace, I expect this concert to be the same. We will feature hymns from our forthcoming album, Saints of Zion, as well as music from Glory to the Holy One, and more.
I will provide narration during the concert, and Mr. Lippencott will direct a live orchestra and symphony performance. There will be time for worship and reflection on the beauty and glory of God, as well as fellowship with other believers.
This concert will be held at 6:00p.m. on September 24 at Independent Presbyterian Church. We would love for you to join us for this special event.
